Hartog Senior is a chaff developed for older horses, horses with dental problems and horses in recovery, where ease of eating and digestibility matter most. Thanks to its soft, finely chopped structure, the product is easy to chew and digest, which makes it ideal for horses that struggle to eat traditional forage. High palatability means even fussy horses eat it readily.

The product has been enriched with a balancer suited to the needs of older horses. It contains high-quality, easily digested protein and a full set of vitamins and minerals, including trace elements in organic form, which are more bioavailable. It is also low in starch and sugar and contains neither cereals nor molasses, which further supports the horse’s digestive health.

Hartog Senior can be used as a complete feed, replacing both forage and hard feed. It is a convenient solution for horses that need simpler feeding or have a limited ability to eat the different parts of a ration.
