Wholesome compound feed Protein Musli Grassland is an exceptionally appetising muesli with added hibiscus and a source of high-quality protein (as much as 16.7%). It works as a replacement for oats, as the basis of the diet, or as an addition to everyday feeding for horses and ponies in sport training, in all disciplines, that need to rebuild muscle. The feed can be combined with oats, ideally together with Grassland Everyday Care, so that vitamins and minerals stay at the right level.

The balanced recipe supplies the nutrients the horse’s body needs in order to function properly. A high share of protein ingredients, namely alfalfa pellets, extracted sunflower meal and pea flakes, means the feed effectively supports the regaining of body weight. Alfalfa pellets and sunflower husks add the fibre the horse needs, and the addition of vegetable fats, namely a blend of linseed oil, provides the slow-release energy needed for everyday work. The product is highly digestible, thanks to hydrothermally processed grains. Rice bran, vitamin E and selenium benefit the muscles and speed their recovery after exercise. Rice bran is also a source of natural plant omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids and supports proper muscle-protein synthesis. The feed also supplies a high dose of biotin to improve the quality of skin, coat and hooves, which contributes to a better appearance of the horse.

Vitamin pellet included in the feed Grassland Everyday Care provides the right amount of high-quality vitamins and minerals for horses with no diagnosed deficiencies. It allows nutrients to be absorbed at their best and supports normal muscle function and a healthy immune system. Thanks to its high vitamin B12 content, the feed improves the ability to concentrate, reduces susceptibility to stress and helps improve performance, so that it meets the needs of horses in hard work.

The addition of hibiscus and apple pomace makes the meal more palatable and stimulates the appetite. What is more, dried hibiscus gives the feed a beautiful colour and has numerous health properties: it supports the circulation, stimulates the body’s immunity and has an anti-tumour effect. Combined with the absence of oats and molasses in the composition, the feed does not cause unwanted hyperactivity and allows the amount of oats in the ration to be reduced, which is why it is also suitable for young horses being brought into training.
