Hartog Digest is a high-quality blend of forages, developed to support the horse’s digestive system. It is an excellent choice for horses with a sensitive stomach or gut and for those prone to digestive problems.

The formula has been enriched with postbiotics, which supply metabolites that support the gut flora. They help to maintain balance in the digestive tract and support healthy digestion.

The structure of the chaff calls for more chewing movements, which increases saliva production. Saliva plays a key role in buffering stomach acid and so supports stomach health. Magnesium and the calcium from lucerne further strengthen the acid-neutralising effect.

Hartog Digest is low in sugar and starch, so it is also suitable for horses that need a diet restricting these nutrients. The product contains no cereals and no molasses. Thanks to natural additions such as pieces of apple, carrot and beet, plus linseed oil, the chaff is very palatable and even fussy horses eat it readily.
