Mieszanka paszowa Economy Musli Grassland is a tasty, economical muesli for the everyday feeding of all types of horses and ponies that need energy and strength without excitability. It works as a replacement for oats or as an addition to the daily feed. Feed it together with the vitamin and mineral supplement Grassland Everyday Care, in order to maintain the right amount of vitamins and minerals.

The balanced recipe supplies the nutrients the horse’s body needs to function properly. The feed contains little starch, so when it is used with high-starch oats it reduces the amount of sugars in the ration. A high share of lucerne pellets supplies a full 14.9% of high-quality protein and, together with wheat bran, also covers the basic need for fibre and provides slow-release energy for everyday work. A high level of linseed cake in the muesli also has a protective effect on the digestive tract and supplies a generous amount of plant omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids. 

Micronised barley and maize in the recipe provide a readily available source of energy and, thanks to hydrothermal processing, they are highly digestible. Added sunflower meal and whole sunflower complete the recipe with valuable protein and natural plant oils that help to maintain the horse’s condition and healthy appearance.

The low-sugar, low-starch formula makes it possible to feed horses prone to gastric ulcers, nervous horses, and especially those that tire quickly and need a high share of slow-release energy in the daily diet. With no oats and no molasses in the recipe, the feed does not cause unwanted excitability and makes it possible to reduce the amount of oats in the ration. A high content of apple pomace also makes the mix more palatable!
