Grassland Care complete feed rich in fiber derived from ryegrass is an extremely appetizing muesli with herbs and coconut. Its low energy content (1 kg of feed is a source of 7.7 MJ) and only 8% starch and sugar combined make it suitable for horses with all metabolic diseases. It will work well as a replacement for oats, a dietary base or an addition to daily feeding. Forage can be combined with oats, preferably while supplementing the diet with Grassland Everyday Care supplement to maintain adequate vitamins and minerals.
The balanced formula provides the nutritional values necessary for the proper functioning of the horse’s body. The high proportion of fibrous components, i.e. alfalfa pellets, sunflower husk and, above all, ryegrass, has a positive effect on intestinal microflora and provides slow-release energy especially useful during convalescence. They provide, also high quality fiber, supplemented with essential amino acids and calcium. The basic protein requirement, on the other hand, was met by the addition of rice bran, which is both a source of fat. Flaxseed oil contained in the blend is rich in omega-3, -6 and -9 acids and valuable vitamins A, E and D, and its regular administration improves the condition of the coat and hoof horn.
Grassland Everyday Care vitamin granules, included in the feed, provide adequate amounts of high-quality vitamins and minerals, in horses with no known deficiencies. It enables optimal absorption of nutrients and maintains proper muscle function and immune system health.
